Dana Kanellakes practices in the areas of insurance coverage and litigation. Dana has significant experience with large, complex, multi-party construction defect claims, including completed operations and ongoing operations hazards, the business risk exclusions, continuous injuries, additional insured issues and allocation. Dana also has significant experience with respect to personal and advertising injury coverage, including intellectual property claims, class action TCPA and FCRA/FACTA claims, employment-related claims, defamation claims and privacy related claims. Dana has also handled numerous litigation matters involving late notice issues.
Dana’s litigation experience includes declaratory judgment actions, as well as contribution and subrogation actions. Dana also regularly counsels insurance clients regarding their coverage obligations for occurrence and claims-made policies at the primary, umbrella, and excess levels, including commercial general liability, errors & omissions, employment practices liability, first-party property, auto and cyber liability.
In addition to her practice, Dana has served as an Adjunct Law Professor of Legal Writing at Loyola University Chicago School of Law.
