Jeanne Kuo Riggins is a partner in the Litigation practice group. She focuses her practice on complex litigation and appellate issues. Jeanne is an experienced litigator who has defended corporate and individual clients in a variety of matters, including copyright infringement, trademark infringement, products liability, wrongful death, business torts, employment (harassment, wrongful termination, retaliation, discrimination, and wage andhour), errors and omissions, and other litigated matters. Her practice includes client representation in connection with pre-litigation, litigation and all levels of appellate proceedings. Jeanne recently obtained a summary judgment victory in a sexual harassment and retaliation case on behalf of a popular restaurant based in Los Angeles.
Jeanne also regularly represents insurers as it relates to insurance coverage, coverage litigation, bad faith litigation, contractual disputes and other commercial contract litigation matters. Jeanne also handles a wide variety of complex insurance coverage issues and disputes under various policy types, including commercial general liability, errors and omissions liability, cyber liability, employment practices liability, excess and umbrella coverages involving personal and advertising injury, construction defect, property damage, bodily injury, professional liabilities, environmental, toxic tort and bad faith issues. Jeanne has also successfully represented insurers in rescission, contribution, reimbursement and declaratory relief actions, many of which involved complex additional insured, contractual indemnity and allocation issues.
Since 2009, Jeanne has been selected for inclusion in Southern California Super Lawyers® as a “Rising Star,” an honor bestowed on no more than 2.5% of attorneys in California. She is proficient in Mandarin Chinese and Taiwanese.

Interinsurance Exchange of the Automobile Club of Southern California: The California Supreme Court Opines on “Accidents,” New Appleman on Insurance: Current Critical Issues in Insurance Law (Summer 2010). Jeanne is also a contributing author to the firm’s publications – Commercial General Liability Dispatch and Specialty Lines Advisory.
