Shannon Harvey is an associate in our Chicago office who handles a wide variety of complex commercial and personal injury litigation with a focus on products liability and mass tort matters. She is a trial lawyer who is in state and federal Court every week and has successfully participated in numerous jury trials. Shannon is also very experienced with the mediation process and has successfully negotiated reasonable settlements in cases where liability and damages issues were strongly contested. She commands the respect of experienced trial lawyers throughout the city and state as well as the clients she has represented.
Shannon advises and works with her school district clients on a daily basis. In addition to providing constant updates in Illinois school law, she assists in preparing FOIA responses and maintaining legally current board policies. As a trial attorney, Shannon represents school districts in lawsuits filed in the state and federal courts.
Prior to joining the firm, Shannon worked for the Cook County State’s Attorney Office. While with the State’s Attorney’s Office, Shannon participated in numerous trials in the Circuit Court of Cook County and submitted appellate briefs to the Illinois Appellate Court. In addition to her practice, Shannon serves on the Board of Directors for the Young Irish Fellowship of Chicago, a not-for-profit organization that is devoted to celebrating the Irish culture while supporting several Chicagoland charities.
