NOVEMBER 7, 2011 - (Chicago). Tressler Chicago office lawyers and 16 Chubb Group of Insurance Company employees (lawyers and others) have teamed up to lead interactive lessons in Chicago public schools through the “Lawyers in the Classroom” program.
Coordinated by the Constitutional Rights Foundation Chicago (CRFC), the Edward J. Lewis II Lawyers in the Classroom program partners attorneys with elementary classes to help students understand the U.S. Constitution and our legal system. CRFC trains attorneys to lead interactive lessons, provides teaching materials, and matches them with schools.
“We are pleased to be providing this service to the community, especially with representatives from our client Chubb Group,” said Daniel R. Formeller, Managing Partner of Tressler LLP.
Tressler attorneys have been paired with Chubb employees to provide the lessons, beginning Nov. 7, 2011, at Reilly Elementary, Alcott Elementary and Hawthorne Elementary Scholastic Academy.
