Douglas J. Pahl, an experienced litigator who represents clients in aviation and aviation related products liability matters, has joined Tressler LLP as Of Counsel in the firm’s Los Angeles office.

Tressler LLP has hired three associates who focus their practices in insurance coverage, insurance related litigations and reinsurance. They are Samuel M. Goffinet in Newark; Clarisse C. Petersen in Orange County; and Abigail E. Rocap in Chicago.

Raysa & Zimmermann LLC, a premier local government law firm in Illinois, has combined with Tressler LLP effective April 1, 2012. 

The Investing in Justice Campaign is a communitywide effort through which Chicago-area legal professionals come together each year in March to raise funds for pro bono and legal aid services in the Chicago area.

Raysa & Zimmermann LLC, a premier Local Government Law Firm in Illinois, has announced that it will merge effective April 1, 2012, with Tressler LLP. The combined firm name will be Tressler LLP.

Through this merger, Tressler gains seven lawyers and an office in Park Ridge, Ill., from which the firm will continue to support its governmental practice in the Chicago suburbs. In an article written by Chicago Daily Law Bulletin staff writer Patricia Manson, which reports on the drop in bankruptcy filings on a nationwide basis but a rise in filings in about 20 percent of the federal judicial districts around the country, Tressler attorney John Collen is quoted as saying, "It's really not a statistically meaningful decrease … Filings are still more than double 2007 levels.”
