Hart, Kathleen M. Associate

Practice Focus

Kathleen Hart is an associate in the Insurance Practice Group. She focuses her practice in the areas of insurance coverage analysis and litigation. Kathleen has experience drafting coverage opinions and also has participated in all phases of pre-trial litigation, including pleadings, discovery, depositions, witness preparation and oral arguments.

In addition, Kathleen has represented corporate clients in examinations under oath dealing with theft and uninsured motorists claims. She also has experience drafting deeds, real estate documents, corporate documents/filings, and reviewing arbitration agreements and vendor contracts.

Professional Background

Prior to joining Tressler, Kathleen was with Querrey & Harrow, LLC, where she began her career as a law clerk and later worked as an associate. While at Querrey, she honed her skills in legal writing and research.

During her time in law school, Kathleen was on the Dean’s List and was the managing editor of The John Marshall Law Review. She was also a member of the Latino Law Student Association, and tutored first year students through the school’s Advanced Education Program. Kathleen was also a judicial extern for the Honorable Judge Jeffrey Cole, U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois, and a legal intern in the Chicago Park District’s labor and employment department.
