Practice Focus

Pamela Beck is an associate attorney in Tressler’s Government Practice Group. Pam focuses her practice on employment matters, commercial contracts and corporate governance. She has a depth of experience representing municipalities, park districts, corporations and non-profit organizations in both Illinois and Florida. Pam has represented private corporations in general corporate issues such as governance, bylaws, due diligence and contract review. She has drafted and negotiated numerous executive employment, severance and noncompete agreements as well as corporate employment policies. Her versatile background includes trademark and logo registration. Pam has extensive experience in a broad array of governmental and private matters including real estate, land use, zoning, negotiating leases, vendor contracts and estate planning. Throughout her career, Pam has represented clients in Federal and State courts, served as a City Prosecutor and appeared before the EEOC and arbitration panels.

 

Professional Background

Prior to joining Tressler, Pam has spent her career representing municipalities, companies and non-profit organizations in both Illinois and Florida. She began her career as an associate in a boutique firm representing park districts, several cities and private corporations in the Chicago suburbs.

Following her law firm experience, Pam served as general counsel for Multigraphics, overseeing and managing a variety of transitions culminating in a merger with Paragon Holdings. She has also served as general counsel for the Nonprofit Center of Northeast Florida. She has counseled numerous non-profit businesses on board development, business management and 501(c)(3) formation. The heart of her advocacy has been to find strategies for avoiding potential foreseeable risks and mitigating the unavoidable ones when they arise.
