Wayne Stevenson is an associate attorney in Tressler’s General Defense Practice Group. He serves his clients in a diverse array of industries including insurance, business, transportation, aviation, agriculture and government. Wayne is focused on establishing Tressler’s regional presence in Central and Northern California and concentrates his practice on civil litigation matters, including insurance defense and coverage and other tort matters.
During the first year of his legal studies, Wayne worked as a law clerk for an insurer-side worker’s compensation firm assisting with Worker’s Compensation Appeals Board matters before choosing to join the Tressler team in his second year of law school. Wayne was a Loyola Business Law Fellow and a member of the Innovation, Entrepreneurship and Start-Ups Club. He also was both a member and a 2L representative for the Loyola Business Law Society and a Trial Coordinator for the Young Lawyer’s Program.
Prior to law school, Wayne worked at a Fortune 500 transportation company as a Field Safety Specialist, internally assuring compliance with state and federal transportation regulations. Additionally, Wayne has over a decade of hands-on experience in the agriculture industry, having worked as a ranch hand and in various other capacities for his family’s multi-generational cattle ranch in Montana.
