Tressler LLP continues to expand its Orange County office with the addition of a new associate, Tom Xu. Mr. Xu represents and advises insurance company clients in complex litigation and coverage matters. He has a great track record in litigating both first-party and third-party actions, including bad faith claims, coverage disputes, Cumis counsel issues, property damage, and personal injury cases with millions of dollars at stake.

“This is an exciting period of growth for our Orange County Office,” said Todd S. Schenk, Partner and member of Tressler’s Executive Committee. “Tom’s range of insurance experience makes him a great addition to the Tressler team.”

“I am elated to be joining Tressler and grateful for the opportunity to begin the next chapter of my career here,” said Tom Xu. “I look forward to working with and learning as much as I can from all of the seasoned attorneys here and hope to make a lasting impact.”

Prior to joining Tressler, Tom was an associate at Demler, Armstrong & Rowland LLP, an insurance defense firm in Long Beach.  In law school, he served on the Vanderbilt Law Review and clerked for Magistrate Judge Evelyn Furse of the U.S. District Court for the District of Utah after graduating.

Mr. Xu earned his B.A. from the University of California Berkeley and his J.D. from Vanderbilt University School of Law.
