Gabriel Alvarado Joins Tressler's HOA Practice Group

We are proud to welcome Gabriel Alvarado as a new associate in Tressler’s HOA/Condominium & Common Interest Community Association Law practice. He will be located in our Bolingbrook, Illinois office.

Gabe’s practice includes knowledge in the areas of real estate financing, foreclosures and interpreting banking laws and regulations. Gabe has extensive experience revising corporate governing and financial documents. He has over 4 years of real estate and banking industry experience. He was recently an internal auditor for Northern Trust and worked as a mortgage banking underwriter for JP Morgan Chase prior to law school. During law school, Gabe was an extern for the Circuit Court of Cook County’s Mortgage Foreclosure Division and interned for Zurich North America and PRM Realty LLC.

Tressler’s HOA Practice Group been growing the past few years, most notably with the addition of partner Katerina Tsoukalas-Heitkemper. He brings experience in real estate financing, foreclosures and interpreting banking laws and regulations which will help us to better serve our clients.”

Tressler represents hundreds of associations throughout the Chicago Metropolitan area. Our attorneys have extensive experience servicing the needs of associations in a wide variety of contexts including: collection of delinquent assessments, counseling property managers and board of directors/managers regarding Illinois law and governing documents, review and negotiation of contracts, financing and loan documentation, property licenses, declaration and bylaw amendments, rule enforcement, violations and challenges, construction disputes, discrimination claims, legal updates and opinions. Our attorneys have litigated numerous issues on behalf of associations in the state and federal courts.  We  also serve as panel counsel for various insurance companies to defend associations and their property managers in claims made against their D&O insurance policies.
