Kimberlyn is an associate attorney in Tressler’s San Diego office. As part of the firm’s Insurance Group. Kimberlyn’s primary focus involves various insurance-related legal matters, including preparing coverage analyses, policy interpretation, coverage dispute resolution, claim management and counseling, underwriting consultation, product development, reinsurance transactions and disputes, and bad faith litigation. Kimberlyn takes a proactive approach to insurance law. She offers clear, practical advice and thoughtful guidance so that her insurance industry clients can make well-informed, legally sound decisions. Kimberlyn handles a variety of insurance-related matters from a client-centered, goal-driven position and with a keen focus on protecting the interests of insurance industry clients. She skillfully counsels clients with a balance of both logic and compassion to assist them in navigating complex challenges with confidence and certainty. Whether a client’s focus is on avoiding future legal issues or effectively managing an existing dispute, Kimberlyn strives to find efficient solutions that are tailored to meet the unique needs and further the specific goals of each client.
Kimberlyn began practicing law at a boutique firm specializing in complex, high-stakes civil litigation and bad faith insurance disputes. Starting at the firm as a law clerk during law school and remaining there for her initial years as a practicing lawyer, she gained extensive experience handling a vast array of legal matters throughout all stages of litigation – from case inception to resolution. There, Kimberlyn developed a passion for counseling clients facing complex legal issues. She has represented clients in a variety of civil legal matters, including both complex and general civil disputes, class action litigation, and insurance bad faith cases. She has significant experience in effectively managing intricate, nuanced legal disputes and is motivated by a good challenge. Kimberlyn prides herself on her ability to offer clarity to clients during times of uncertainty, and she truly values the professional relationships that she develops and maintains with her clients as she helps them to achieve their goals.

Kimberlyn loves spending time with her family, including her five year old son, their pets, and her friends. She adores animals and finds it rewarding to assist in rescuing, rehabilitating, and rehoming animals that have been abandoned, surrendered, left behind, or even mistreated by their previous owners. Along with her mom and other family members, Kimberlyn has helped find forever homes and unconditional love for countless dogs, cats, horses, reptiles, chickens, ducks, and even a pot-bellied pig. Kimberlyn also enjoys writing, reading, photography, and cooking. She strives to live in the moment by being mindful and being present so that she can cherish each and every experience.
