Lillian Lawrence is an associate attorney in Tressler’s Insurance Services Practice Group. Her practice focuses on a broad range of insurance-related matters, including coverage analysis, policy interpretation, coverage dispute resolution, claims counseling, underwriting consultation, reinsurance matters, and bad faith litigation.

Before joining Tressler, Lillian developed a diverse legal background spanning civil litigation, business and tax controversy, consumer protection, and independent practice. She has represented individuals and businesses through every stage of a matter, from initial investigation and pre-litigation counseling through discovery, motion practice, negotiation, arbitration, and resolution.
Lillian previously served as a senior attorney representing enterprise companies in highly complex tax controversy matters. In that role, she worked closely with corporate stakeholders and subject-matter experts to understand clients’ business operations, evaluate technical and financial documentation and translate complex information into clear, defensible legal positions. This experience strengthened her ability to identify material issues, assess risk, develop resolution strategies, and guide clients through high-stakes disputes with government agencies.
