Associate Attorney Role Description
We are seeking a coverage/litigation associate attorney to join our Irvine, California office. Matters handled by this dynamic group include the analysis of various types of claims as well as high-stakes litigation. This is a hybrid position in our Irvine office.
Essential job duties include:
- Reviewing and analyzing new files from clients.
- Drafting coverage opinions and advising clients on insurance coverage matters.
- Interpreting insurance policies and coverage provisions.
- Communicating and preparing status reports to clients.
- Conducting legal research when necessary.
- Attending depositions, hearings, and mediations as required.
A successful candidate will also:
- Have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Be skilled in legal research and analysis.
- Have superb administrative skills.
- Possess the ability to work collaboratively and independently.
- Be diligent, driven, and eager to learn.
- Possess the ability to take ownership of their work.
Qualifications
- Active bar license in California
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Exceptional writing, organizational, and advocacy skills
