Role Description
We are seeking a Toxic Tort Attorney to join our firm as an Associate in our Walnut Creek office. The role involves representing clients in complex litigation related to exposure to hazardous substances, including asbestos, silica, mold, pesticides, and other environmental pollutants resulting in personal injuries. This is a hybrid position in our new Walnut Creek office.
Essential job duties include:
- Handling a caseload of toxic tort lawsuits, including individual and mass tort claims.
- Drafting pleadings, original motions, discovery requests and responses, and other legal documents.
- Speaking with scientists, medical professionals, and expert witnesses to support litigation.
- Communicating and preparing status reports to clients.
- Conducting thorough investigations, including gathering medical records, reviewing scientific studies, and legal research to build a strong case for clients.
- Advocating for clients in depositions, court hearings, trials, and settlement negotiations as required.

Qualifications
- An active California bar license
- A Juris Doctor from an accredited law school
- 4-7 years of toxic tort litigation experience
- Strong knowledge of environmental laws, personal injury, and product liability
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Exceptional writing, organizational, and advocacy skills
