Tressler was founded in July 1986 as Tressler, Soderstrom, Maloney & Priess, beginning as an insurance defense law firm with just 18 attorneys. The firm’s first office opened at 200 W. Adams Street, with additional offices in Wheaton and Waukegan. In 1992, Tressler moved its Chicago office to the iconic Sears Tower, now known as the Willis Tower, where the firm’s home base remains located on the 61st floor. Today, the Chicago office continues to serve as the central hub of Tressler’s nationwide presence.
