Where are you from?
I was born in Pennsylvania and raised in New Jersey.
Do you have any hidden talents and/or unique hobbies?
I am an avid traveler with a long-standing interest in learning languages. I have studied several languages to an advanced level, including American Sign Language, Arabic, and Spanish, and I am conversational in several others. Exploring different cultures and languages has been a meaningful pursuit both personally and professionally.
Why did you decide to become an attorney?
I decided to pursue a legal career while studying abroad at the University of St Andrews in Scotland. I was deeply influenced by the passion and commitment of two close colleagues who were preparing to pursue professional graduate degrees. Since that time, one colleague has become a successful attorney and the other a skilled cardiac surgeon. Their drive and dedication left a lasting impression and played a significant role in shaping my own career path.
What do you like most about Tressler?
I most appreciate the culture of dedication and collaboration at Tressler. The attorneys are not only exceptionally skilled in their respective practice areas but are also deeply committed to supporting one another’s success.
What are you most proud of, professionally and/or personally?
I take great pride in being an attorney licensed in both New Jersey and New York. As a first-generation college and law school graduate, I understand the challenges of pursuing higher education without a clearly defined path. This experience has shaped my commitment to mentorship and community service. I remain actively engaged in giving back to my alma maters: James Madison University and Seton Hall University School of Law, both of which played a crucial role in helping me build a strong foundation for my legal career.
Is there an experience from your background that has been particularly influential in your personal life and career?
As I mentioned previously, I truly enjoy traveling! While living in Florence, Italy, my husband and I pursued our master’s degrees in European Union policy studies and had the opportunity to travel extensively. Over the course of one year, we visited 14 different countries for both personal and professional engagements. We gained first-hand exposure to diverse cultures, legal systems, and perspectives. Overall, the experience reinforced the importance of adaptability, cultural awareness, and international connection, which are qualities that continue to shape both my personal life and professional approach. I have included a few photos below from some of our most memorable trips:

Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates

Brussels, Belgium

Prague, Czech Republic

St Andrews, Scotland
