Tressler is excited to welcome Erfan S. Shariat as an associate in the Insurance Services Practice Group in our Orange County, California office. Erfan concentrates his practice on claims handling and extracontractual liability, insurance consulting, and insurance litigation.

Prior to joining Tressler, Erfan represented public entities and various private companies throughout California. His practice included the defense of school districts in a wide range of matters, including personal injury claims and employment disputes. Through this work, Erfan developed a strong understanding of the legal and procedural considerations involved in defending governmental entities.

Before representing public entities, Erfan represented credit unions and other corporate clients in collections and unlawful detainer matters.

Erfan received his J.D. with a Concentration Certificate in Criminal Law and Dean’s List honors from Whittier Law School and his B.A. in Psychology and a Minor in Sociology from California State University, Fullerton.
