Senior Counsel Greg A. Mase and Associate Jason S. Ketchum prevailed on a motion for summary judgment in San Francisco County Superior Court on behalf of their client, a sheet metal contractor, arising from a construction site injury in which the plaintiff claimed that a piece of sheet metal fell and caused him serious personal injuries and damages.  After extensive discovery, the trial team was able to marshal evidence that their client’s employees were not present on the date of the incident and that other contractors who were working at the time were most likely responsible for plaintiff’s injuries. Tressler’s team filed a motion for summary judgment on those grounds which the court granted and entered judgment on behalf of their client, saving significant defense costs and the need for a trial.
