Tressler attorneys Jennifer S. Perdigao and Myrna Van successfully obtained summary judgment on behalf of their client in a personal injury lawsuit arising from an alleged motor vehicle incident at a restaurant drive-through in Los Angeles County, California.

The plaintiff alleged that she sustained physical injuries, emotional distress, and other damages when the defendant’s vehicle purportedly struck her. The defense disputed these allegations and maintained that the plaintiff could not establish the essential elements of her negligence claim.

The defense successfully demonstrated that the plaintiff could not establish that the defendant’s vehicle made contact with her or that she sustained injuries or damages as a result of the alleged incident. The Court granted the motion for summary judgment, resolving the lawsuit in favor of the defendant without the need for trial.
