Tressler is proud to announce that Jennifer S. Perdigao has been appointed to the Board of Directors of the Aviation Insurance Association (AIA) as Director-Elect, Attorney Division.

The appointment reflects Jennifer’s commitment to the aviation insurance industry and her dedication to advancing the interests of aviation insurance professionals. As Director-Elect, she will serve a one-year term before transitioning to a two-year term as Director, helping guide the association’s initiatives and support its mission of serving aviation insurance professionals throughout the United States and internationally.

“I have always looked forward to the AIA conference each year and spending time with friends, clients, colleagues, and kindred spirits. I am excited to get more involved in AIA and to have the opportunity to give back to the organization that has done so much for me,” said Jennifer S. Perdigao.

Founded in 1976 as the Association of Independent Aviation Insurers, the organization was originally established to promote the general welfare of the aviation insurance industry among underwriters. As interest and participation expanded across the industry, the association broadened its membership to include professionals from all facets of aviation insurance and adopted its current name, the Aviation Insurance Association, in 1988.

Today, AIA is recognized as the premier association for aviation insurance professionals, bringing together members from 45 states, the District of Columbia, and nine countries. The organization provides valuable educational programming, professional development opportunities, and industry networking events throughout the year, including its highly regarded annual conference.

Jennifer’s appointment to the AIA Board underscores her leadership within the aviation insurance community and provides an opportunity to contribute to the continued growth and success of an organization that has played a vital role in the industry for nearly five decades.
