Jihoon Kim, Greg Mase, and Erin Peters Promoted to Partner at Tressler LLP
Tressler is pleased to announce that attorneys Jihoon Kim, Greg A. Mase, and Erin L. Peters have been promoted to partner. Jihoon joined Tressler’s Orange County office in 2021 as an associate. Greg joined Tressler’s San Francisco office in 2025, and Erin joined Tressler’s Morristown, New Jersey office in 2024, both as senior counsel. Jihoon is a member of Tressler’s Labor and Employment Practice Group, and Greg and Erin are members of the Litigation Practice Group. Congratulations, Jihoon, Greg, and Erin!
About Jihoon Kim

Jihoon Kim is a partner in Tressler’s Labor and Employment, Transportation and Aviation, and Litigation Practice Groups in the Orange County and Los Angeles offices. He advises employers in management-side labor and employment litigation involving discrimination, harassment, and wage and hour claims. Having also established and managed corporate human resource departments, Jihoon has drafted and reviewed personnel policies, employee handbooks, and other employment-related materials, and has conducted investigations and counseled employers, in connection with a broad array of employee relations issues, including wage and hour, disability leave, and harassment.
Jihoon’s defense litigation experience involves a wide range of matters, including the defense of wrongful death, personal injury, and property damage claims arising out of premises, aviation accidents, airport operations, motor vehicle accidents, and product liability.
Jihoon received his B.A. from the University of California, Irvine, and his J.D. from University of California, Davis, where he was the Executive Editor of the UC Davis Business Law Journal.
About Greg A. Mase

Greg A. Mase brings more than 32 years of experience to the firm. His practice focuses primarily on preparing, opposing, and arguing dispositive motions in high-stakes cases while maintaining a winning record. Greg has also briefed and argued numerous appeals in the California Courts of Appeal and the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.
Greg has prevailed on numerous dispositive motions and appeals, the following of which are just a few examples:
- In Lambdin v. Mangold Property Management, Inc. (2024) Cal. App. Unpub. WL 226816, briefed and argued before the Sixth Appellate District, convincing it that the trial court had correctly granted an anti-SLAPP motion in favor of the defendant property managers dismissing the case. On remand following the appeal, the trial court awarded defendants over $136.000 in attorney fees.
- In Elizondo v. Balfour Beatty Construction Co. (2024) Cal. App. Unpub. Case No. A166493, briefed and argued before the First Appellate District, convincing it that that trial court had correctly granted the defendant construction company’s motion for summary judgment based up the doctrine set forth in Privette v. Superior Court (1993) 5 Cal.4th 689, as the defendant did not retain control over the worksite in a manner that affirmatively contributed to the plaintiff workers’ injuries.
Greg received his B.A. from the University of California, Berkeley and his J.D. at the University of California, Hastings College of Law.
About Erin L. Peters

Erin L. Peters has 15 years of experience litigating complex defense matters in New Jersey and New York. Her practice focuses on the representation of insurers and insureds in both state and federal courts. Her extensive litigation experience includes handling complex defense and coverage matters in various practice areas, including premises liability, products liability, automobile negligence, wrongful death, dram shop, professional liability, intentional torts, and employment practices liability.
In addition to the practice of law, Erin enjoys participating in seminars and speaking engagements. She has served as a panelist and moderator for a variety of seminars and webinars hosted by the New Jersey Institute for Continuing Legal Education, and the New Jersey Defense Association.
Erin received her B.A. from the Pennsylvania State University and her J.D. at New England Law, Boston.
