We are excited to welcome Mahnoor Butt as an associate attorney in Tressler’s Litigation Practice Group in our San Francisco, California, office. Mahnoor is originally a UK-qualified attorney. She has extensive legal experience with a strong commitment to client advocacy. Mahnoor focuses her practice on insurance defense, personal injury, landlord-tenant disputes, employment law, and other general liability issues.

Prior to joining Tressler, Mahnoor spent over three and a half years working as in-house counsel for the UK financial regulator in London where she advised on various legal matters relating to FCA authorization and registration, cryptoassets, financial crime/AML, sanctions, data protection/UK GDPR, and FOIA. Mahnoor also worked as a litigator for a prominent international law firm where she defended a portfolio of over 300 financial product mis-selling claims made against a multi-national commercial bank.

Mahnoor earned her B.A. in Law from the University of Surrey and her L.P.C. from BPP Law School.
