Samuel P. Ring Joins Tressler’s Litigation Practice Group
Tressler is proud to welcome Samuel P. Ring as an associate in Tressler’s Litigation Practice Group. While focusing predominantly on insurance defense, Sam’s practice involves all aspects of litigation and many diverse practice areas.
“I am very excited to join Tressler under the guidance of Margaret Firnstein Gebhardt and Daniel R. Whiston,” said Samuel P. Ring. “My goal is to become the best litigator I can be, and I’m certain that these seasoned trial attorneys will sharpen and challenge me.”
Sam has handled all aspects of various legal matters, including construction negligence, subrogor actions, Homeowner Association matters, probate, assault, defamation, bailment, wrongful death, and equitable accounting matters. Handing cases from inception to resolution, he has experience preparing Appellate and Supreme Court Briefs, arguing dispositive motions, and prevailing in arbitrations.
While in law school, Sam set himself apart in the first-year moot court competition, finishing in the final four and being named a distinguished speaker. He was then recruited onto the Jessup International Moot Court Team, where he became a semi-finalist. Subsequently, he became a judge of the first-year moot court competition and an advisor to the United Nations Committee on the Elimination of Racial Discrimination.
Sam earned his J.D. with Dean’s List honors from the University of Oklahoma College of Law and his B.A. in Police Science and Public Administration with Dean’s List honors at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse.
