Tressler is Proud to Support the Southern California Chinese Lawyers Association
Tressler is proud to support the Southern California Chinese Lawyers Association (SCCLA), a longstanding and influential organization dedicated to advancing the interests and professional development of Asian American legal professionals.
Last week, Tressler attorneys Cynthia Y. Sun, Inga Romm, Jennifer S. Perdigao, Myrna Van, and Jihoon Kim attended the SCCLA’s 51st Anniversary Installation and Awards Banquet, held at the Westin Bonaventure Hotel in Los Angeles. The firm was a proud sponsor of the event, and the evening provided a meaningful opportunity for our team to celebrate alongside clients, colleagues, and leaders within the legal community. The banquet was a vibrant and memorable occasion, featuring a traditional 10-course Chinese dinner, dynamic lion dance performances, and recognition of distinguished honorees. The program also highlighted SCCLA’s continued commitment to supporting future legal professionals, with tens of thousands of dollars awarded in scholarships to law students.
Tressler is especially proud of partner Cynthia Y. Sun, who serves on SCCLA’s Board of Governors and serves as Membership Chair. Her leadership reflects both her personal commitment and Tressler’s broader dedication to fostering inclusion and community within the legal profession. Founded in 1975, SCCLA holds the distinction of being the first Asian American bar association in the United States. The organization continues to play a pivotal role in advocacy, mentorship, and professional development. SCCLA is also a member of the National Asian Pacific American Bar Association, the nation’s largest association representing Asian Pacific American legal professionals, with a membership spanning approximately 80,000 attorneys, judges, law professors, and law students.
Tressler remains committed to supporting SCCLA’s mission and looks forward to ongoing collaboration to strengthen the legal community.
