Tressler Wins U.S. News & World Report “2026 Best Companies to Work For: Law Firms” Award

Tressler is proud to announce that the firm has won the “Best Companies to Work For: Law Firms” award from U.S. News & World Report for the third consecutive year. Guided by a panel of experts, U.S. News & World Report Editors conducted an objective, data-driven analysis of law firms based on six factors that are important to employee well-being and job satisfaction: quality of pay and benefits; work/life balance and flexibility; job and company stability; physical and psychological comfort; belongingness and esteem; career opportunities and professional development. These categories draw on Abraham Maslow’s hierarchy of needs.“Employee preferences are deeply personal to the individual,” said U.S. News Vice President of Careers Carly Chase. “Best Companies to Work For: Law Firms offers employees and job-seekers a reliable resource, showing firm scores on each of the rating factors to help them find a workplace that meets their unique needs. It also enables law firms to see how they measure up against competitors.”

The methodology for the Law Firms Awards, similar to that of the “Best Companies to Work For,” evaluates publicly available employee sentiment and other data to demonstrate how well a company supports its workers’ everyday experiences. This list, which expands U.S. News’ Careers offerings, highlights the top law firms in the country to help employees and job seekers identify companies that may be a good fit. Only law firms included in SurePoint Technologies’ Legal Insights (formerly Leopard Solutions) database were eligible for consideration.

U.S. News collaborated with SurePoint Technologies and Revelio Labs, which collected comprehensive data—including employee sentiment and legal market research—to assess six ranking metrics. Firms with the highest composite scores, including Tressler LLP, are named in the 2026 Best Companies to Work For: Law Firms list.
