With nearly two decades of experience, he is known for providing practical, clinically informed case evaluations and trusted counsel in matters where both professional reputations and personal livelihoods are at stake.

Healthcare professionals facing litigation often carry concerns that extend well beyond legal exposure. Corey takes the time to understand each client’s goals and works closely with them to develop a strategy that aligns with their needs. His approach emphasizes clear communication and cost-effective solutions to achieve the best possible outcome. He is known for going the extra mile (often literally, due to California traffic) to achieve success. 

In addition, Corey handles healthcare and personal injury matters involving the entertainment industry, where medical complexity and reputational concerns often require a careful and discreet approach. He also represents employers in employment practices litigation throughout California.

Over the course of nearly two decades, Corey has built a California healthcare defense practice representing insurers, healthcare systems, and individual providers in medically complex and high-stakes litigation. He has served as lead counsel in medical malpractice defense, federal correctional healthcare litigation, and administrative license proceedings before the Medical Board of California and related bodies. Corey previously practiced as staff counsel for a major international insurance company, defending the company’s insureds in litigated and administrative matters. 

Corey is a member of Tressler’s associate training faculty and provides coaching on case strategy, client relationships, legal technology, and the practical demands of healthcare defense work. He is passionate about advancing the future of the legal industry and provides exceptional client service.
