Jennifer A. Dancy and Maria E. Kardasis Secure Dismissal With Prejudice of Employment and Age Discrimination Lawsuit
Tressler attorneys Jennifer A. Dancy and Maria E. Kardasis successfully secured the dismissal with prejudice of an employment and age discrimination lawsuit following a Motion to Dismiss before the Illinois Human Rights Commission. The Motion argued that the Complainant failed to allege facts sufficient for an age discrimination claim under the Illinois Human Rights Act. Specifically, the Complainant failed to allege that, while she was given work to accomplish on her own and her hours were cut, employees significantly younger than her received help with their work and were given more hours. As such, the Complainant was dismissed with prejudice.
Congratulations to Jennifer and Maria!
