This marks Alyssa’s first selection, while it is the second time for both Taylor and Caitlin to receive this prestigious recognition. Meet our 2026 Illinois Rising Stars:
Taylor A. Brewer
Associate

Taylor is an associate in Tressler’s Litigation and Appellate Practice Groups. Taylor’s practice focuses on providing comprehensive services to the insurance industry including coverage analysis, pre-suit claims assessment and handling, insurance defense litigation, and appeals. His experience also extends to healthcare statutory and regulatory compliance, as well as advising and handling claims for state and local governmental entities.
Caitlin Frenzer
Associate

Caitlin is an associate and litigator in Tressler’s Professional Liability Practice Group. Caitlin focuses her practice on the representation of professionals and insurance companies in complex civil litigation, including business, professional, and management liability litigation, insurance coverage litigation and disputes, and other tort and contract actions. Prior to joining Tressler, Caitlin Frenzer practiced at private firms serving as general counsel for local government clients. She provided litigation services, civil liability defense in state and federal court, labor and employment support, and land use counsel. In addition to her experience representing clients in civil litigation, Caitlin acted as local prosecutor for misdemeanor offenses, ordinance violations, traffic court calls, and administrative hearings.
Alyssa N. Suareo
Associate

Alyssa is an associate attorney in the Insurance Practice Group. She focuses her practice on insurance coverage analysis and litigation. Alyssa provides comprehensive coverage analysis and defense in matters involving a wide range of policies, including commercial general liability coverage and professional liability coverage. Alyssa began working as a law clerk at Tressler in May of 2020 and has continued to work as a law clerk at Tressler throughout her time in law school. Through her experience at Tressler, Alyssa has had the opportunity to assist Tressler’s talented attorneys on a variety of cases throughout the country, including matters involving insurance law, litigation, government law, labor and employment law, HOA, and condo law, and transportation law.
